• We use passwordless authentication (magic links sent to your email)
• You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• We are not liable for losses from unauthorized access if you fail to protect your email account
• You may not share your account with others

3.3 Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings or by contacting us
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately

4.1 Subscription Tiers

• Free Tier: Basic search functionality with limited filters
• Paid Tier: Advanced filters, unlimited searches, and additional features
• Pricing and features subject to change with notice

4.2 Payment Terms

• Payment processing handled by third-party provider
• Subscriptions billed on recurring basis (monthly or annually)
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for applicable fees

4.3 No Refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for:

• Partial subscription periods
• Unused features or searches
• Account termination or cancellation
• Dissatisfaction with the Service

4.4 Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• You retain access to paid features until the end of the paid period
• No refunds for remaining time in billing period

4.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Price changes apply at your next renewal.

5.1 Permitted Uses

You may use the Service to:

• Search and view nonprofit compensation data
• Export or save search results for personal or business use
• Conduct research or analysis on nonprofit sector compensation

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service without permission
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying database
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service or data
• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate any laws
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code

5.3 Enforcement

Violation of these Terms may result in:

• Account suspension or termination
• Legal action for damages
• Reporting to law enforcement if applicable

6.1 Our Data

• The compensation data is derived from publicly available IRS Form 990 filings
• We compile, process, and present this data but do not create the underlying information
• Data is provided “as is” and may contain errors or omissions

6.2 Data Accuracy

• We make reasonable efforts to ensure data accuracy
• We do not guarantee completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of data
• IRS filings may contain errors; we are not responsible for errors in source data
• You should verify critical information through original IRS filings

6.3 Your Data

• Search queries and account information you provide remain your property
• By using the Service, you grant us a license to use your data to operate and improve the Service

7.1 Our Rights

• The Service, including design, code, and database structure, is owned by Instant Currency LLC
• Our trademarks, logos, and branding are our property
• You may not use our intellectual property without permission

7.2 Public Data

• The underlying IRS Form 990 data is public information
• Our compilation, organization, and presentation of this data is protected
• You may not recreate or clone our database structure or Service

7.3 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for permitted purposes. This license terminates when your account is closed or these Terms end.

8.1 No Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties of accuracy, reliability, or completeness of data
• Warranties of uninterrupted or error-free service
• Warranties that the Service will meet your requirements

8.2 No Professional Advice

The Service provides information only. It does not constitute:

• Professional consulting or recommendations
• Employment or compensation guidance

8.3 Third-Party Services

We rely on third-party services (Supabase, Vercel, etc.). We are not responsible for:

• Third-party service outages or failures
• Third-party privacy practices or security
• Changes to third-party terms or pricing

9.1 Damages Cap

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INSTANT CURRENCY LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim

9.2 Exceptions

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of implied warranties or liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

For disputes under $10,000, you agree to attempt good-faith resolution before filing any legal action.

12.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Instant Currency LLC regarding the Service.

12.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

12.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

12.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

12.5 Survival

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including warranties, liability limitations, indemnification, and dispute resolution) shall survive.
